1. Order & payments

How do I know that you have received my order?
After you have placed your order, you’ll reach our order confirmation page. Make sure to follow all the steps in the checkout process to complete the order. Thereafter, we’ll send you a confirmation email with your ordered items and payment method. 

What payment methods are available?

We offer a variety of payment methods through the familiar and trusted PayFast interface. We process MasterCard and Visa credit cards, Instant EFT (with SA’s four biggest banks), Masterpass, credit facility mobicred and digital payment method Bitcoin.

I have a discount code. Where do I enter it?
Place all the products you wish to purchase in the shopping cart. When checking out, enter the discount code in the field “discount code” and apply the discount to your purchase. You will see the sum deducted to your total cost above in the checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order when my order is placed?
Once you have placed your order, we cannot cancel or alter it. If you wish to change any items, you can simply return the items you don’t want to keep for a refund and place a new order. 


2. Return & refunds

How do I make a return?
We hope you’ll be satisfied with everything that you order from us, but if something isn’t quite right, we’ve created a quick and easy return service. Returning goods is free and you can return any item(s) purchased at zedel.co.za within 14 days from the delivery date.

What are your return conditions?

The item(s) should be in the same condition as you received it. You are of course welcome to try the item on to see if it fits you and is the way you like it to be, but it should of course be unused for you to make a valid return. Please make sure to save the labels so you can include that with the returns.

Non valid returns will be sent back to you and we are not able to handle a return that is not connected to our e-commerce, zedel.co.za. If you have a return to a physical store, you need to visit the store in order to make a valid return.

How do I receive the refund?
You will get the refund back to the same account as you paid your order with. If your payment was done with a debit card, you will get the refund to the same account as your card is connected to.  


3. Delivery 

How do I know that my order is shipped?
As soon as your order is sent, you will receive an e-mail with a link to track your parcel. Click on the link if you want to keep an eye on its process as it makes its way to you.  

Can I alter my delivery address after I’ve placed my order?
In many cases, it’s possible. Write to us as soon as possible and inform us about the address you want to change from to the new delivery address. Write this from the e-mail you ordered from and don’t forget to include your order number. This is for us to maintain a high security on our deliveries.  

How do I track my order?
As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking ID. If you haven’t received a shipping confirmation, please contact us with your order number and we will be happy to assist you. 

How long does it take for my order to arrive?
Delivery time is between 3-5 days after dispatch.

Why haven’t I received my parcel?
If your order is delayed, we will always try to contact you with an updated delivery date. Please notice that our sales periods might require an extended delivery time. We’re always happy to help you, so please don’t hesitate to contact us for any questions regarding your order.  

How do I best care my Zedel shirt?
Paying extra attention to how you wash and take care of your clothes will not only prolong their life length, but also help minimize their environmental impact. To follow the care instructions attached to the shirt is a good place to start. We’ve also put together some general tips on how to care your shirt in our 
care guide. 

I’ve forgotten my account password. How do I proceed?
Click on ”My Account” at the top right of the page. Then click on ”Forgotten your password?” to reset your password and follow the instructions you’ll receive in the mail sent to you.

Alternatively, you can click on ”Email me a login link” and you will have a login link sent to your e-mail that you can follow to get to the checkout connected to your account without your password.

4. Care Guide

– We recommend that you soak the shirt for a while before washing.

– For the first wash it is best to wash the shirt on a cold cycle to protect the quality of the cotton.

– We recommend machine washing no hotter than 40°C.

– We also recommend that you follow the instructions on the shirt label closely.

– When drying it is best to hang the shirt on a hanger to minimise wrinkles.

– We do not recommend tumble drying. This type of aggressive drying can break the cotton fibres, alter colours, weaken the stitches and thereby shorten the lifespan of the shirt.

– Always follow the washing instruction for each shirt.

– Unbutton, turn up the collar and turn the shirt inside out. 

– Do not overfill the washing machine. 

– Set the washing machine on a low spin-dry. 

– Once the washing program is finished, hang it on a hanger and button the collar. Stretch the cuff, collar and front placket softly. Do not wring the shirt. 

– A light ironing may be desirable for that extra finishing touch. Avoid ironing the cuffs and collar on a high heat setting, lower the heat and iron them gently.
